Bob Marley's life, legacy and legend continue to warm the world more than 25 years since his passing, and for fans of his music and his timeless message of peace and love, there's a brand-new reason to remember him.
It's the new BobMarley.com, which has been redesigned and updated with new, fresh and exciting features for the most rabid fans of Bob Marley, his musical family and his many charitable endeavors that still help improve millions of lives around the world today.
Bob's widow, the great Rita Marley herself, offers a terrific overview of the new site with a personal video message to all BobMarley.com visitors.
"Well, guess what?" Rita says with her trademark smile. "In the coming months, you'll be re-introduced to the Legend and his music, of course. And the new BobMarley.com will serve as headquarters for music, videos, photos, stories, friends and family, and about you, of course. We're going to be in your neighborhood soon, so look out for us."
The new Web site retains the deep historical information visitors know from the previous BobMarley.com -- including an extensive history of Bob's life, his music, his family, his charities, his friends and his legacy.
It will also feature exclusive, never-before-seen performances, features and interviews, all presented in rich, high-quality video and audio and selected with care from the extensive Bob Marley archives.
Songs you might not have heard in their original live, loud glory ... interviews with a host of iconic collaborators who still speak of the greatness of Bob Marley ... links to the many still-strong charitable and community-improvement endeavors that Bob started ... it's all here at the new BobMarley.com, so kick back, turn up your computer speakers, and enjoy it.
We will travel to Jamaica and all over the United States, tracking the many active members of Bob's musical family -- including Ziggy, Damian, Stephen, Julian and Ky-Mani -- and their bands as they continue to spread the musical messages that Bob taught them and providing exclusive stories and video features from the road.
Rita Marley will be on hand to help inform the BobMarley.com community of news about Bob's legacy, the family charities including Africa Unite, and activities.
"This site will continue to grow with the participation of all communities," Rita says in her welcome message.
"It's very important. Please, join our community. Learn, experience, and listen, because that's the way we learn. ... One love."
