Natural Mystic Music tour
Steep yourself in serenity on Strawberry Hill
Lie in a hammock out on the verandah of your luxury cottage, stare at the verdant Blue Mountains of Jamaica and the turquoise majesty of the Caribbean, and watch as the mist rolls through the perfect sky.

Mere minutes into your stay at the Strawberry Hill resort, it's undeniable that you're in a magical place. That's why it's no coincidence that this very location inspired greatness from one of Jamaica's original mystic men, Bob Marley.

When an attempt was made on Bob's life in 1976, he chose Strawberry Hill as his place to heal and get away from the madness of fame in the big city of Kingston. Moved by the idyllic, peaceful surroundings, he wrote the song "Natural Mystic," which featured the lyric: "There's a natural mystic blowing through the air/Can't keep them down/If you listen carefully now, you will hear."

Now you can tap into this inspiration by taking part in the first "Natural Mystic Music Tour," a vacation package being offered by Strawberry Hill in which you can voyage into the vibe of reggae music and experience the serenity and clarity that Bob was able to find when he needed it the most.

Book a three-night stay at Strawberry Hill and you'll also be treated to a complimentary visit to the Bob Marley Museum on Old Hope Road in Kingston and a trip to Marley's childhood home in Trenchtown, where his musical and humanitarian identity began to take shape.

Strawberry Hill sits in Irish Town, Jamaica, about 3,100 feet above the Caribbean and the capital city of Kingston, and is situated on 26 acres on the site of a working coffee and fruit plantation that has been in operation since the late 1700s and gained fame in the 1940s and '50s for its Sunday Tea. In 1972, the property was acquired by Island Records founder Chris Blackwell, who is known for signing Bob Marley and effectively making it possible for his music to reach the rest of the world.

The resort's critically acclaimed restaurant, overseen by Chef Kingsley McGregor, features "new Jamaican" cuisine with dinner menu items such as Jamaican pepperpot soup, jerk lamb loin with garlic guava glaze and pan-seared plantain-crusted snapper with a passion fruit sauce.

Also, the resort is home to the Caribbean's only Aveda Concept Spa, where you can receive customized treatment based on your "personal blend" of Aveda's pure flower and plant essences.

When you're away from the tranquil resort, the surrounding area provides countless opportunities for rain forest and mountain hikes, simple beach-going, wildlife and bird watching, bicycle touring, and good, old-fashioned relaxation in the tradition of Bob Marley.

Book the Natural Mystic Music Tour package now and receive a one-bedroom suite rate of $1,866 for three nights, with all meals and airport transportation included, based on double occupancy. The deluxe studio rate for three nights is $2,146.
