Bob Marley's life was so legendary and unfortunately so short that even his rehearsals have to be considered historic events. This couldn't be more true in the case of this early September 1980 session at Criteria Studios in Miami, which turned out to be the last rehearsal of Bob's life. We're happy to be able to take you inside that final session at BobMarley.com with exclusive video that we'll be rolling out clip by clip throughout the summer.

This session catches Bob and the Wailers as they rehearse at Criteria before the second leg of the Uprising tour that began in Boston on September 16, 1980. The band had just come of a huge success in the first part of the tour, which started in late May in Europe. They played for over a million people, with the biggest show occurring in Milan, Italy, where they played to over 100,000 people.
